febi Auxiliary Belt Drive Parts
Modern engines are becoming more and more technically complex. As a result of the increasing number of aggregates, the secondary drive - also referred to as aggregate drive - is becoming increasingly important as well. This part of the belt drive drives the additional units, which include, for example, the generator, coolant pump or air conditioning compressor.
But more and, above all, more complex components and assemblies also require greater maintenance and repair efforts. Often the aggregates of the secondary drive are arranged in a narrow space and are driven by the front and back of the auxiliary belt. Not only because of the multi-layered construction, must the specifications of the vehicle manufacturer be observed at all repairs.
In addition to inspecting the auxiliary belt, maintenance of all adjacent components is an important part of regular inspections. Components such as tensioning units, alternator overrun pulleys and pulleys must always be considered.
Ferdinand Bilstein has the technical know-how to be able to offer precisely tailored wear parts that are required for exactly and safely executed repairs on modern engine systems.
