For clean air and a clear view all year long

Pollution of the air with soot, dust and pollen is increasing due to environmental factors and the rising number of vehicles on the road. These pollutants get into the vehicle interior due to poor maintenance of the cabin air filter and impact significantly on air quality.

But how can one actually tell that the old cabin air filter is no longer performing at its best and what risks does this involve?

Rapid misting of the windows, a high proportion of dust in the vehicle interior, foul smelling air or poor ventilation performance are just some noticeable symptoms of a blocked or old air filter. Filtering of the cabin air is particularly helpful for asthma and allergy sufferers during the pollen season from February to September. It helps to maintain concentration levels and therefore reduces the risk of accidents.

febi's range of cabin air filters includes over 50 items for commercial vehicles and buses. Along with standardised particle filters, febi also supplies cabin air filters with a layer of activated charcoal. febi activated charcoal filters offer additional protection from ozone, exhaust gases, unpleasant odours and up to 100% of bacteria. The additional use of a foam seal with side strips ensures perfect sealing performance. The material is also moisture-repellent, hence preventingmoisture from entering the vehicle interior.

febi's advice: Check and, if necessary, replace the cabin air filter every 10,000 miles or once a year.
