CMP – CROSS MEDIA PUBLISHING: What is CMP?
Febi published the first electronic CD ROM catalogue already in 1995. This was the actual beginning of CMP (= Cross Media Publishing) at Febi. This can be explained as follows: A database was created for this CD catalogue and CMP is, simply expressed, the production of various media based on a common data source. All the data from the existing printed catalogues had been entered
into this database until 2000.

WORKSHOP CALENDAR 2005: Product lines completed by attractive curves
This year is the fourth year in series in which Febi Bilstein publishes a workshop calendar with erotic pictures which enjoys increasing popularity. The calendar is intended for the end customers of the Febi products – the independent car repair shops.

IT-SYSTEM: Successful integration of the Febi subsidiaries and sales force
The Febi IT team had to meet ambitious requirements: the
objective was to grant the sales force and subsidiaries all over the world access to corporate applications, such as MS Outlook or the merchandise information system. The only technical requirement for the users is an Internet connection whether established via ISDN, DSL or by means of mobile technologies, such as GPRS and UMTS.
